upon order, they are not mass produced.

and other sun protection systems provide

in your home ´s outdoor areas, covering pools, barbeques
and pation areas. We also offer a large range of shade
sail fittings.
We also provide a custom sun shade installation

Since successfully pioneering tensioned
membrane shading systems (Shade Sails) into
Portugal in the spring of 2002
OZ SHADE have been busy developing
a solid reputation for delivering complete
customer satisfaction and consistent high
quality and we are dedicated to helping
you make an informed decision regarding
all aspects of your shade system.

| Shade Sails in Australia made their
debut at the Brisbane "Expo 88" to cover large numbers
of people from the harsh Queensland sun. These sails
were manufactured overseas and cost many thousands
of dollars each. Enquiries after Expo for sail installations
proved to be too expensive for all but major commercial
projects. |

| So with good old Aussie ingenuity
and the manufacture of a greater range of modern,
durable shade fabrics, Shade Sails gradually began
to appear in back yards, carports, over swimming
pools, restaurants, parks, playgrounds and many
other places. |

| This all went very well until the
first strong wind, which blew many sails down with
varying degrees of damage to surrounding areas.
Some operators decided it was not as easy as it
looked and quit the industry. Others learnt from
this, and have gone on to establish a rapidly growing
industry with a reputation for superior design and
workmanship…and to develop strict guidelines for
the manufacture and installation of tensioned membrane
shade systems. |

| Most shade fabrics these days come
with manufacturer's warranties of around
ten years against UV degradation and colour fading.
BUT! Buyer beware! Don't be fooled
by the "It's guaranteed for ten years." line….the
fabric warranty will not be valid if the fabric
is not used in accordance with the manufacturers
specifications or if there is faulty or badly designed
installation involved and they certainly do not
mean that your shade system is guaranteed for ten
years! |

| Unfortunately, as in any growing industry,
there will always be "fly by nighters" that don't
stay long but leave in their wake a trail of cheap
quotes, disappointed customers and shoddy workmanship,
so it is important that you choose the right company
when committing to any work to be done. |
